This page is to help new members find out everything that is expected of them by joining the Elemental Zephyr Guild. There are various areas of interest located in the navigation bar to the left of each page and descriptions further down in this page. These areas can provide a wide range of assistance for most of the guild and neopets.com needs that we as guild members have to address.
There are a few important rules that all Elemental Zephyr Guild members must follow.
1. | Any member that is suspected or caught scamming/hacking or any other destructive activities will be investigated and if found to be true, membership and priviledges will suspended and the member will be removed from the guild. This is not allowed by neopets.com and it isn't allowed by us either. Those activities are not nice and detracts from the great fun and excitement available while playing neopets. |
2. | Members must remain active in the guild by posting messages in the message board per week. This is to make sure that the guild has enough activity to maintain the services and features we offer for membership. If there are special reasons that members cannot maintain this, then notify chica_pixie of the reason and it will be handled appropriately. |
3. | Rank promotions are done by the council. Surprise us and be active to get promoted. Please do not request a promotion, it is earned not given. A general message will be posted on the message board to let members know specific member promotions as they occur. |
4. | Messages posted to the message board should be important. Do not post useless messages (i.e., "Hi, is anyone here?"). This is considered spamming and the chat room or neopets.com chat message board can be used instead. Messages should have some meaning. |
5. | Do not neomail mennadraoi unless specifically told so by an event or a council member. Matters of extreme importance or an emergency can be handled through one of the Silent Forces [mattijai or chica_pixie]. |
6. | No guild member except the guild council is permitted to host an event within the guild unless given permission. All approved events will be posted on our events page. Otherwise, hosting an event is considered illegal. All guild events are 100% legit when a guild council member is hosting it. |
7. | Basically, do not say words that may discriminate someone or is just plain inappropriate. Please keep in mind that Neopets is open to all types and various age groups, and they maybe watching. |
8. | Do not use more than one account to enter into an event or any other activity that is hosted by the guild. You may have multiple accounts join our guild, because we can't stop you nor do we care. As long you don't try to cheat by using multiple accounts. |
9. | Advertising another guild's activities or events will not be acceptable! That is an automatic ban and you'll just make the other guild look desperate. Advertising of your shop is allowed but you may ONLY do it occasionally. The same rule applies to trades and auctions. Any other type of advertising is not allowed like advertising a certain website of some sort unless it's a Neopet.com website or a website that is shown on the guild page. |
10. | Engaging in pet dating will not be allowed because Neopets does not allow it! Also, please do not give away your full name, address, or anything like that. There are dangerous people on the internet and it's recommended that you keep personal information to yourself. Everyone must respect another member's rights not to give away any personal information! Even if it's just their birthday.... You may ask but they reserve the rights not to tell. |
11. | The guild council reserves the right to add/modify or remove any of the above rules. If there is an issue that is not specifically addressed above, a Vital Force member will personally handle the issue in the best way possible. |
